Well I am probably going to take you up on that offer, I have something rather important I need to change on my framework, then I will be calling on your artistic skills.

Not a problem. Fire away when ready... By the way... Do you have any objections to crayons?

FrameWork update:
-Added search bar for typing in entity name, for ease of use instead of scrolling to find desired entity.
-Layer 8 has been changed to a "sensor" layer it will be specific to detecting collisions not associated with the collision engine, used for triggers and things not requiring direct physics change to both entities involved.

I was hoping to upload the newest version when I hit the 100 hour mark on this framework, but there is so much to do, and as of now am sitting at 101 hours into it and probably still a little ways from uploading. I played around with n00b engine to compare some things and his is much more professional looking, behaving, and just overall more polished, so gets me wondering...why bother writing separate software if it's going to be inferior, I mean his engine uses RCBasic so I could probably use it quite well, not to mention open source, so anything I wanted to change/add its all there to do so....so why bother?? I say because of the experience it gains, the fun of figuring out as much as possible without needing assistance, the challenge is the best part. There is also the reasoning that n00b code is so clean and organized I can't make heads or tails of it lol. Joking aside the experience has been a blast so far, and I am really putting in as much time as I can on my scene editor, I want it to be as feature rich as possible!! n00b This community is a great inspiration, you are a full time worker who not only made the language, made an engine in the language, then has the time and ability to burn off feature requests in a very respectable time!! johnno56 The man who vastly underestimates himself and pumps out content like a machine!! drfloyd An experienced Basic user who has already made a massive impressive game!! kennn A very optimistic and enthusiastic member!!
Great community!
Makes it easier to get stuff done, even when I don't want to lol.

I would say definitely keep working on your framework. Your framework actually does alot of stuff right now that my engine can't such as isometric maps and smooth uneven plane collision. I did not spend time on that because the game I wanted to make was very simplistic. As far as the community goes, it has come a long way. Well as johnno56 would say, I need my coffee.

I was having a conversation with my cousin about the definition of a framework, turns out what I have here is not a framework.
Using various definitions from across the internet, we came to the conclusion that if the software controls most data internally such as world positions and collision info, and has a world or scene editor it is considered an engine.
Although the two have been used interchangeably.
Maybe I can just call it framework+ lol.

My advice would be, do not allow someone else's definition of something 'you' made, determine what you yourself should call it... After all... it's 'your' baby... 'you' get to name it... lol...

True Story! Plus as aurel already mentioned "framework" is a fancy word, and I like the way it sounds.

Well I haven't had much time on this for a couple weeks, but I am almost to the point where future updates wont break save and load data, so I will be uploading the latest stable version soonish...lol. I will be transferring everything to another laptop as I am donating my current one, so I will be out of the loop for a bit.
