Yes, a level editor is on the horizon! I have never done one before....but I love figuring this shit out. Obviously, right or why would I be using a language(an awesome one!) instead of....Unity or Godot. Maybe I am messed up individual who doesn't conform to what the masses believe is the correct way to do this stuff, but Unity sucks, c# sucks, Godot seemed ok but I could not qrap my head around the way they do things, so backwards and upside down in my head...I am ranting, sorry.
As soon as polygon collision is fully functional, and a few usability improvements on the point/collision editor is done, then the level editor will begin!

I never liked using game engines either. For 2d development, its usually easier to code everything yourself. RCBasic also has the benefit of being built on libraries that run on every modern platform. Btw did you ever get android build running?

My first attempt failed, but I will return to it. Android studio is throwing errors....not hugely important but I would like to try eventually.

Awesome. I need to document it better but the process has changed a few times.

I don't want to do what everyone else is doing. I will find my own way, or make one. Your progress is inspiring, so far. Keep it up!

Yes I imagine most people who keep searching for languages like RC must be similarly minded lol.

How is this project going? Are you still working on your toolset?

You better believe it, I have just joined my scene editor with my gameLib, and have loading up the *.entity files going and it loads the associated images and collision masks for the scene editor, working on placement and rotation right now. I should have something working in hopefully a week or so, times tight right now with harvest, I am lucky to get 1 hour in, over 3 days lol.
I am also researching how you rotate points around an origin, for the collision masks to stick to their images.
I'm so close to putting together a level using my own editor....excited!!

Thats awesome. Its pretty impressive that you have managed to make so much progress so fast on this. As far the rotate points goes, check out this link. How to rotate around a vertex around a certain ponit?I actually used the formulas here to develop the rotate functions in my engine.

I have done a little digging but I did not come across that one yet, thank you. It's very easy to follow.
Should be able to get it working in a few days if all works out.

This editor is impressive. I know isometric positioning isn't as straight forward as top down so you must have put a lot of work into it.
