Geany is just a standard code editor and doesn't have features like that as far as I know. If you are talking about having a way of tracing errors during runtime, johnno56 has already brought this issue up and it is on my list of stuff to add. You can read his original post on it to find other ways of tracking errors: Error Tracking

other question about angles bx=bx+2*cos(angle) by=by+2*sin(angle) i have difficuties with the angle... For exemple i should use value like 2.5 to go to the left... Can I use 0 to 360 and convert ?

Can you file the issue with DO on the bug reports page? That seems to be that I did not add an error check for someone not closing loops. For the time being as long as you close your loops your code should be fine.
On your issue with angles. Both of those functions use radians. You can multiply degrees by (180/PI) to convert to radians.

I want to ask is Basic fast compared to C++ or Cerberus X ?

Depends which. C ++ is faster than RCBasic because it is fully compiled.

C++ is one of the fastest languages available. I don't know much about Cerberus X.

I want to ask is Basic fast compared to C++ or Cerberus X ? Just curious, what are you planning to create? What's your skill level? I ask because if your not planning on creating a next gen engine, AAA game, your own language variant, or are a c++ guru, c++ is overkill. Cerberus X I had a little experience with its quite complex for a basic-like language, but is compiled and therefore very fast. RCBasic is quite fast depending on your usage, creating a Mario clone, no worries! Creating a 2D engine, yup it can handle that. Need 1000's of images all interacting with each other, it can easily handle that as well. If you need access to OpenGL, for 3D or 2D lighting for example, then Cerberus X has you covered. If your inexperienced and are starting out RCBasic is a great place to learn without getting overwhelmed. Just my thoughts.

I am not curious at all, very similar questions you may found over many facebook groups in most cases that kind of question mean NOTHING!

Ok. I'll ask the obvious question... What language was used to create RC?

Are you suggesting that the language must be better than the one in which it is written? Does not have to ...

Hmm... Didn't think of that one... Is the apprentice greater than the master? It's very rare. But it could happen... Nah. Just curious as to which program was used to write RC.... lol

written? Does not have to ..
well in most cases YES...it should be faster can you write compiler in interpreter ...NO well yes you can ..but then how you compile it ..he he ..
also good example is OxygenBasic compiler is written originally in FreeBasic compiler ... hmm to to say it looks that new version of ThinBasic would be written in Freebasic too.(maybe Eros want to target linux too)
I am not 100% sure but if I remember nOOB old viseos i think that RC is written in C++

Ok. Possibly written with C++... Thank you.
