I finally got a chance to try your game. It kinda plays like Ultima. Overall a really good game.

Please forgive me for sounding simple... Can I assume that the object in the lower right is a "mini-map" and the "ship" is flying over land and sea? It took me a few minutes to figure that one out... It's not your graphics... It's my perception of them... Can I also assume that you are the 'artist' who created the graphics? If so... Nicely done.

it's just a test... I will begin the game in 2020 (I finish first COSMOS I with BLITZ)... i have also done others parts of the game, i will publish soon
The artist , yes, but.... for this demo I only use 3 tiles 16x16... that's all...
(Of course the sea is moving)

Played it for awhile, good job, very in depth, old school feeling. I would love for some mouse integration, but not a deal breaker, the inventory was easy to use, and the fighting was pretty good....will probably play some more when I get time.

Ultima "0" is a 1980 game (coded in full Applesoft basic if i remember)...
I love also the space game SUNDOG (Apple 2/Atari ST) and was in admiration with ELITE FRONTIER (Atari ST, Amiga, PC) from David Braben (fully coded in assembler)
So, COSMOS, is a tribute to these great games.

Oh that's right! Now you're making ME feel older than I am... By 1980, I would have been married for two years! By 1979 I had built my first 'computer' (1K of ram. Machine code with a hex keypad and a cassette interface) That's right. I'm old enough to remember a time when we had no computers; no mobile phones of any kind; no internet; Four maybe five TV channels viewed on a black and white CRT TV that used a rotary channel selector; almost no violence; children respected their parents; we played in and ate dirt; we shared bottled water or drank from the garden hose... I miss those days...
