Well after a long time playing around I am rewriting my engine In Blitzmax, the oop isn't all bad, and is alot easier to understand than c++, runs fast, had setup issues on Linux but that's all figured out. I am still using RC but for a mobile hard app I am making. So I will still be around here.

Oops that was supposed to be "herd" app stupid auto-correct. All the ones on Google play are really complicated, way to convoluted or expensive so I am making my own for my family farm.

Well I am back to being a single dev lol, after a multitude of headaches trying to get things compiling and working fluently for Linux and the annoying oop, I am done with Blitzmax....I am quite comfortable in RC and will be for a long time, lol.

Cannot imagine what you are going through... It looked like you we beginning to get things working with Blitzmax and now you are "back to being a single dev" and giving up on Blitzmax. Blitzmax's lose; RC's gain. We will appreciate whatever time you can afford to give.

Why did you quit Blitz?

Mainly, was never a fan of oop....gave it a try, and then the problems with compiled languages and multiplatform bared its teeth. Came back to RC as it's so effortless to go between Linux and Windows.
Time was also a major factor, I have so little to do this stuff and when it's just problems and trying to get it to work, it takes so many days...down the drain.

Blitz3D was wonderfull for his time, but i hate Blitmax, even if more powerfull, it was a bad successor.
RC Basic is effortless... I rediscover yesterday and in 2h i am able to do a little game, it's great.
