Ok tried a few times this morning, and I believe you got it squashed! Nice work, with the extra scrutiny. Hopefully @kenn can also play test and we can affirm the "random feature" is no more.

How about a nice simple game of Pong?... No. Wait! That has weird bouncing angle type stuff, right?. That's right. I hate Geometry... lol
Nah... I said I would research 'Power Ups'... Best look into that first... "Time and Tide"...

johnno56 Your air hockey game is basically a far more complex version of pong already.

Not for me... Air hock was written by bplus... I think I may have assisted with some graphics... Complex? Yep.

Ok, guys. Fingers crossed. I am hoping that THIS will be the final release. Please do your best in playing.. er.. um.. testing the game thoroughly? If there are no more "random features" then this project is "done and dusted". www.dropbox.com/s/vm3livvnci3hv1p/asterocks.zip?dl=0

I was busy yesterday. I will download the latest version to test. n00b, I believe that RCBasic is really entering a new era!!! johnno56,How about a nice simple game of Pong?... No. Wait! Perhaps you have removed the bug. You are a genius! In fact, three of you are real geniuses.

n00b,The community project makes RCBasic look more successful than NaaLaa and SDLBasic!! tbird,This community project is very successful. You always came to solve hard problems suddenly. johnno56,The bug does not appear any more! Congratulations!!!!!!! You may join other game programming contests in the future. I have some opinions for your next entry. Maybe these opinions will be very useful for your next entry. 1. Make two skill modes(easy mode and difficult mode) because different gamers have different levels of skills. Allow gamers to choose to play in one of the two modes. 2. Make several levels in the entry, level 01, level 02, level 03....... Gamers may be more excited. 3. Need several background music themes(several ogg files). Allow gamers to choose to play one of the themes freely in the game. The game will be more interesting. 4. Make several types of interesting power-ups. The whole game will be more impressive.

Thanks Kennn,
But I think it will be some time before I attempt another competition. As I mentioned earlier, I don't play well with time restrictions... "What? You had 3 months to finish the game." you may ask... Let me add a little perspective... I usually "re-make" old games for two reasons... 1. Compared to modern games they are simpler and easier... and 2. I really struggle with creating ideas for new games... and 3. I am not a certified programmer... I tinker.... and I am also 'not' a mathematician...
I appreciate all your suggestions, eg: Power Ups; Levels; Music etc, which are all valid and great ideas, but at my current level of skill and or experience, making changes like those are really hard. Just to give you an idea as to how difficult it was to finish this game: If I was the only one assigned to write the game, it would 'still' be either 'on the shelf' or not even considered... If it wasn't for all you smarter guys, I would still be working on Pong and have nothing to submit to the competition.
I still have some research to do....
For all you Star Wars nerds: May the 4th be with you...

This shows that RCBasic is a really reliable software! 2. Promotion: after the final version of the entry is finished, please upload the final version to your account on Itch.io. It is because this game is a vital and superior promotion for RCBasic! 3. Forum: the development process of the project makes this forum more active and more interesting. The development process raises the RCBasic community to a much higher level! 4. Ability: the project shows that your ability is not simple. Your ability is outstanding in making a complete, good and user-friendly game! 5. Co-operation: the co-operation among the dream team members(us) is very admirable. This co-operation experience is so amazing! noob, Ludum Dare 46 just started. I am entering it again. The theme sucks like usual but I will attempt to put something together. I will post a link when I submit it. I suggest that you only join contest with duration at least over 1 month. Thus the dream team members will have chance to co-operate again. Many one-month jams are held on Itch.io!!!!!!!!!
