This is a simple 3D raycaster demo. It takes full advantage of RCBasics hardware scaling and rotation to generate the textures. Attachments:3D Maze.zip (13.37 KB)

Thanks. This is one of the new demos I am including in the next release. I saw a few people mention more about 3D graphics lately so I wanted to show what RC could do?

Reminds me of the old Wolfenstein 3D game.... without the guards and dogs of course... lol

Raycasting is the same technique used in Wolfenstein 3D. The two textures used are also from Wolfenstein 3D. The biggest difference is that this demo has textured floors.
It is still just 2D and only gives the illusion of 3D just like the Mode-7 demo. It uses a 15 x 11 tile map. Its just like the Mario demo you made. Just open the grid.txt file and you can change the map.
