Hi n00b,
Just downloaded and installed rc312.
Ran a game, within the rcbasic gui, that I know runs with 3.11 but would not run.
Configured Geany to point to the new directory. Compiled without error. Executing gave an error message.
/home/john/development/rcbasic_linux_312/rcbasic64/rcbasic: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libm.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.29' not found (required by /home/john/development/rcbasic_linux_312/rcbasic64/rcbasic)
UPDATE:
Ok. Just checked my system. My current version of Glibc is 2.27 I don't know when the next version will be released for my version of Linux Mint. Installing version 2.29 has the potential of breaking the system. In the meantime, I will revert back to RC3.11. I'm hoping that it won't be too long...

Hey Johnno, thanks for the report. I am assuming you tried building and running something with the package tool. It bundles the libraries used to build this current release which are from my laptop running Ubuntu 19.10. I will go on head and rebuild for an older version of Ubuntu and reupload it.

I didn't try the package tool. I assumed that it needed 3.12....

It does. I just reuploaded the linux version as well as the package tools. I fixed one other bug where linux apps would not launch if it is in a location with a space in its path. Run the uninstall and then re-install this and let me know how it works for you.

Installation of rcbasic completed successfully. Compilation was successful. Executing via Geany AND the GUI was successful.
After I get some rest I will test the other applications as well...
Many thanks for fixing 3.12. Much appreciated.

Did you get a chance to try out any of the 3.12 demos? I actually included one of yours in there.

Cool demos...
Fibonacci (via rcbasic gui) did not produce a display... Probably outputting to a console...
Great job! Well done.
