This is an updated conversion of Naalaa pong to RCBasic. Most of the bugs have been dealt with but there could be one or two left... lol
Very simple to use. Mouse controls the player's paddle. LMB to release the ball (if the player has it...). First to 9 points.
Computer AI is very crude and is easily beaten. The ball increases in speed (up to a point) while it is still in play.
All graphics and sound are found on OpenGameArt.org

It is impressive to see something converted from Naalaa to RC. The ball and the computer paddle seem way to fast though.

Yeah.. Thought about the speed issue. Didn't want to use 'delay's (I don't like 'jerky' movements... I will see if I can apply tbird's 'delta timing'. You would have dis-liked the naalaa version. It starts sooo slowly but it does speed up... eventually...
This is tbird's delta timer.
timeDelay = 0 Function updateDelta() dt = (Timer - timedelay) * 0.001 timedelay = Timer End Function
insert 'updateDelta()' into the game loop...
I tried it on my machine. The difference was only slight...
