johnno56 I just tried this on my laptop running Ubuntu 20.04 and I am now getting the same error. It must not be on newer systems. I will rebuild on 20.04 and post it.

Bingo! Executes via Launcher and Command line. Many thanks.
Did you find out the cause of the problem?

Did you find out the cause of the problem? It looks like the library name changed in 20.04 which is what the latest version of Mint is also based on. I might just include instructions on how to build this in the future. I didn't think anyone used this editor anymore so I wasn't even checking to see if it worked.

Hmm... I suppose that is typical of OS creators... We lowly users are just about the last to know of any changes... lol Oh well. Change is inevitable.
If you think the editor is isn't being used, then possibly leave it out and provide instruction on how to setup Geany and or another IDE? Just a thought...

Just put your project files into RCBASIC_PROJECT_DIR and rename your *.cbc file to main.cbc. Then run build_android.
Your apk file will be built in the APK folder.
NOTE: If you are following the README, skip step 2 entirely. Its not needed anymore.

It looks that i must find my editor version for rcBasic You need to run the start_editor batch file. After that just save your file as a .bas file.
