Four sections are in this official forum:
1. RCBasic
2. RCBasic Support
3. RCBasic Programming
4. General
If RCBasic topics which do not belong to all the sub-forums in section 1, section 2 and section 3, members now need to discuss in the General Discussion sub-forum in section 4(General Section). It may not be too easy for new visitors(also old members) to discover these RCBasic topics. If a Miscellaneous sub-forum is created in section 1(RCBasic section), this kind of RCBasic topic will be discussed in this sub-forum in the future. I believe that this new arrangement will be convenient for all visitors.
The description of the Miscellaneous sub-forum may be something like this: "Here you can talk about anything related to RCBasic, which is not covered in the other categories."
The description of General Discussion sub-forum in section 4(General Section) may be changed to something like this: "You can talk about anything which is not related to RCBasic here."
Thanks.

Aurel may have a valid point. What is that phrase, "It pays to advertise." 'Word of mouth' works fine... assuming that your circle of friends are interested in programming AND are keen to work with Basic. Sites, like the kind that Aurel cited, would be a good start. But, what would potential members find, when they get here?
I can only speak for myself. But the three main 'selling points' for me are: Community (forum), Syntax and Examples.
A small membership is ok... as long as it is growing... (hmm... could be a circular problem...) If the programing language is too complex or written in non-English (Sorry. Mother tongue is English) I'll just say, "Next", and move on. If there are almost no examples or poor documentation... "Next"
Getting the RCBasic name "out there" is critical to growing a larger membership. But, before we can advertise, we have to make sure that we have what it takes to 'keep' them here. That means: Documentation needs to be what most people expect it to be. ie: Each command has an explanation and examples etc. Perhaps a downloadable PDF etc. Our example programs should cover at least the majority of genre's. First impressions are important. "Dress to impress".
I'm not going to cover the amount of work required to achieve all of this... But, if we do not set our goals, the work doesn't get done...
Change of point. Aurel "has" a valid point.

aurel,Really don't know why Noob doesn't put the information of RCBasic on the above type of website. I show you a similar example, Cerberus-X. Cerberus-X's information is not on the above type of website. However, The popularity of Cerberus-X is ok. You can observe the activity of their forum. This lists the "Latest posts" of their forum: www.cerberus-x.com/community/whats-new/posts/901944/I believe that if RCBasic is good enough, it will be at least as popular as Cerberus-X. Softpedia, FreeWare Files, etc., are not really essential. johnno56,One of the most important things is: learning from other successful similar languages. For example, the example page of this language. Many examples which are quite persuasive: www.cerberus-x.com/community/pages/examples/Another important thing, we should ask new members of this forum what their opinions(about software, manual, official website, forum, etc.) are.

To answer the initial question, I don't see a need for a miscellaneous sub forum because all of that falls under general. Having one sub forum to talk about whatever you want is all you really need.
On the topic of adding examples, just post it in tips and tricks and say you would like to add it to the examples. Try to make sure your code is readable and credit yourself at the top in a comment.
You can create a topic in general for submitting documentation. I will work on writing a better page for introduction to graphics and sound but it will be a while. In the meantime, the best documentation anyone could have is this forum.
