1-key version of PONGY. There is also a CBC file of the normal version. R-Ctrl or P. 1. And now I either make a second player (you can convert to a tank) and add shooting. 2. Or we throw in the competition what is, and I try to implement a new idea - 3D racing inspired by Mario Kart. If you succeed in a month, both games will be announced.
2. player: L-Ctrl or Q.

I have been really busy lately and haven't had time to check this out. I will try it out tonight.
Also, a 3D racing would be kind of cool. It would be pretty hard to program though. I have only ever gone as far as some simple demos but trying to do a full 3D game would be pretty challenging.

The eating animation is great. I was laughing a lot, when the red blob was eating my little brave swordfish. Really nice but also really hard with just one key.

And under my Linux: 1. Kashana instead of stars at the beginning. 2. The name BONUS (after arranging 3 diamonds in a row) is probably blue instead of white.

I added a shooting version. If someone wants to help, they can design a tank / amphibious vehicle (instead of the 2nd penguin) using the DRAW and the colors defined in the game. Dimensions 25 x 32 pixels. Color 0 transparent.

Interesting... an underwater tank... 25x32... perhaps a submarine? The original 32x32 image and a slightly chunky 25x32 version using "DRAW()" submarine.txt (1.06 KB) It only took a few minutes to make, so if you need changes, just let me know....

The action takes place on the water, not underneath. I meant a view from above, like in that TANK game that I was showing. Such a floating tank with a barrel. And dimensions 25x30

Ah. I see. My imagination got in the way again... More like a gunboat...

I finally got a chance to try this game out. I was a little confused at first but once I figured out what I needed to do it ended up being pretty fun.

Ok. Try this one. It is really basic (no pun intended)... boat.txt (1.06 KB)

N00b, what problems did you have with the racing game?

N00b, what problems did you have with the racing game? It was just me being stupid. I started the game without reading your post where you mentioned the controls. Overall, it is a very well developed game. Good job.

Now I was asking for a mario cart. I put in a revised version with a tanker. I don't see any significant bugs, except that after the game is over after some time, an error sometimes pops up. Mostly when playing music. At the end there is a short loop that only reads the keys. In Linux, the program suddenly ended with code 0 while playing the game ...

Now I was asking for a mario cart. I was just saying it could be a challenge. It is definitely possible. Games like mario kart and f-zero are basically 2D games presented in 3D so it may not be as hard as I originally thought. If you attempt to do it I would be interested in seeing how it turns out.
