I did that and created a new release apk. The file was created OK. Unfortunately the phone would not install the apk with this message. "There was a problem while parsing the package" I'm off to visit my daughter interstate for her 40th birthday so will be away for a few weeks. Please don't stress too much over this. Thanks again for all your work. Enjoy your time with your family. I will still keep this as a priority since it is a bug. johnno56 could you try to comment out the line I mentioned in my last reply and see if you are able to build an apk successfully. I want to make sure I didn't forget something.

n00b Ok. File edited. As I have only recently rebuilt my system I have not yet setup RC to build any android programs. I will attempt that now and, if successful, use the Mode7 demo as a pilot, then get back to you.... J ps: Ok. I hate to be such a pain... Could you please link me to the instructions for setting up the Android SDK and the procedures to follow to publish? Thank you...

Ok. .bashrc edited. Commandline tools installed. I actually used RC Studio! I know, I amaze myself at times! lol. Created project for Goldwaves. (built and run = ok). Created keystone. Setup app for Android. Failed. See attached log. tested distributing to linux 64 and ran fine. android_make_app.txt (10.14 KB)

johnno56 Run init_android_sdk.sh and also make sure you launch Studio from the start menu.

Ran the "init" and it stated, "Initial Setup is Complete" Ran RC (from main menu) but the make-app failed. Went back to the beginning, starting with the "init" and noticed errors... even though it said that it completed. (See attached) This is becoming a most frustrating event. One step forward. Two steps back. Eventually one of two things will happen. 1. Distribution will finally finally work successfully or 2. I will run out of hair to rip out... lol Apologies. Not a reflection upon you or your abilities but of my lack of understanding and inabilities... *sigh*

There should be a cmdline-tools folder in your ANDROID_HOME folder. The bin and lib folders should be inside cmdline-tools.

The android home (according to the .bashrc file) states that commanlintool folder 'is' the android home folder. export ANDROID_HOME=/home/user/commandlinetools-linux-7302050_latest export ANDROID_SDK_ROOT=$ANDROID_HOME I initially downloaded the androidsdk (commandline tools) from Google and extracted it to my home directory. (see attached) I am going out on a limb here and suggest that I have, yet again, done something wrong... *sigh* I am going to be away for the next 3 days. Should be enough time to think about continuing with Android distribution or not.

tbird If you can get a successful Windows build that would be helpful. If the Windows version is working I can just add that android-project folder to the linux version. I don't have enough space on my Windows PC to install android sdk right now so it would be helpful.
