"illegal character Syntax error at line 1" I just tested it and it works. It comes with a rcbasic studio project called "Calamity3D.rcprj". Just open that and run it if you are using RCBasic Studio. If you are using Geany, VSCode, or some other editor, make sure you have unix line endings on the file. Also if you clone it with Git, make sure your git settings don't reformat it to windows line endings (for some stupid reason that is actually the default when using git on windows).

I got it to run by running rcbasic_studio.exe through Wine, as the Linux build kept erroring out on me.
I was also trying to run the other examples, but they do not seem to have project files?

Studio has some issues on Linux systems using Wayland that I am still trying to fix. You can get it to work by going into edit->preferences and disable parsing and then restarting studio.
For any example that is missing a project file, just open the .bas file and press F10 to run it.
I can make a video on it later.
