I just uploaded a guide to programming in RCBasic for beginners. You can download it from the Docs section on rcbasic.com Hi, I have downloaded this guide. I have some opinions or comments. First, I am surprised by the guide. Colourful and big words. This is quite nice. It is because people will easily realize that the target audience of RCBasic are kids or pupils. Second, it is a PDF file. PDF format should be better than HTML format. More professional, and looks like an ebook now. I have read some pages. Actually, it is very easy for me to understand. No problem. The computer jargons are explained in detail in this guide. Moreover, you put many examples to explain various concepts in appropriate places in this guide. As a whole, the guide is quite excellent. Since there are actually 108 pages in the pdf file, beginning learners will obtain much programming knowledge after finishing reading the guide. They should find that it is not hard to understand this guide. Many of these beginning learners may actually want to learn more. Will some teachers of some schools use the RCBasic software, its tutorials and the guide to teach pupils? I am not sure but really possible. In fact, RCBasic is really pupil-friendly. If other RCBasic users also write good tutorials and good guides, this language may be used to introduce programming in many schools.

Thanks for the feedback. My goal was to not cram too much information and try to make it easy to read. It would be awesome if some school ended up using it for an intro to programming but I hope it is useful to people who discover this project regardless.

Site seems down. Is this resource still available elsewhere?
