OpenB3d is a library that allows easy access to 3d features of OpenGL, and quick game development. Here, sourceforge.net/projects/minib3d/Angros47 is so active in developing OpenB3d for various programming languages. Some recent topics: FreeBasic+Emscripten+OpenB3D: sky is the limit, www.freebasic.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=29005OpenB3D in Python, syntaxbomb.com/index.php/topic,8314.0.html (Add www.) OpenB3D in lua, syntaxbomb.com/index.php/topic,8335.0.html (Add www.) We can try to contact Angros47 to invite Angros47 to develop OpenB3d for RCBasic if RCBasic supports DLL file and SO file. As a result, our users will be able to start to write 3D games in RCBasic. RCBasic will also look more attractive for other people in the future. This is my idea! Thanks!

If someone else wants to implement this, I will let them join the dev team but I am mainly focused on the current graphics API and portability across different platforms. Those 2 are far more time consuming than you realize.

My personal opinion, for what it is worth, is that adding 3D functionality to RC is a great idea. But, as n00b said, implementing it would have to be added by others... I have absolutely no skills to do that... So, unless one of us are hiding the necessary skill-set, 2D (or perhaps 2.5D) will be the best we can do... lol
Do not get me wrong, adding 3D will certainly make RC more 'attractive' or 'competitive', with say the likes of Game Maker etc. But realistically, we have one developer, with limited amount of 'free time'... (not a judgment n00b...)
