Hi, I wanted to try out RCBasic and I downloaded the zip for windows and no editor?? Either I am missing something very obvious, or I am not sure. Any help would be appreciated. Also is RCBasic interpreted like SDLBasic, and is it's speeds similar?
Thanks!

If you are the one who asked on youtube I answered it there as well but I stopped including the editor on windows and instead made it easy to setup with the geany text editor. Check out this video here for how to set it up: Set up RCBasic with GeanyAnd to answer your second question, RCBasic and SdlBasic execute code differently. RCBasic compiles code to bytecode like how Java does. And as far as speed goes, RCBasic and SdlBasic both have advantages and disadvantages depending on what you are doing. RCBasic uses SDL2 which uses hardware acceleration and SdlBasic uses SDL which uses software rendering. It means that RCBasic can draw images a lot faster but SdlBasic can draw lines, pixels, etc faster.

Yes I am the same one who asked, and thanks for the heads up, I got it working in no time. It is definitely different then sdlbasic but I am liking it so far.
