I also do not know what version did you use to compile the ide in linux, i have tried 2.6, 2.8 and also 3.0 but i got 50 errors and some because of the event handlers that are called when you use the menu..I think.

I replied on sdlbasic forum also but I will post a video of how I compile it on linux later tonight. I could use some serious help with distributing lunux binary though.

I am still working on getting this next release up. It takes time because I have to compile and test it on windows, linux, and android. Every time I discover a bug I rebuild and test each platform. And I have to keep switching between windows and linux each time I recompile which is time consuming. After I upload the next release and the video of how I build it on linux the main thing I could use help with is maintaining the linux build. The linux and windows version are the same source code with ifdefs for platform specific stuff so if you could just help with compiling linux binary and testing I would appreciate it.

Well, when do you need me to test and compile the latest 2.0.5 version of rcbasic? Should i work on the 2.0.4 version? If so do you need me to fix the errors and other stuff on Linux Ubuntu?
Thanks

I have fixed the errors in the linux version that I could find up to this point. I am going to post the next release in about 2 hours. I just need to compile the windows and android version. I will post when I get the new source code up.

I'm just posting this last update to say that I won't be able to post an official release until I track down the memory leak I found in the compiler. I believe it is in one of the vectors but I don't know where or even why. I will upload the updated code to github tonight. I have ran it through valgrind but I don't even understand the error messages I am getting. Hopefully I will find it soon.

I placed my current source code on the download page (its the last link and says in the description it is specifically for you). The compiler source code is in the rbc folder. You should be able to compile it without linking against anything. This is not a normal type of bug as every bug up to this point I knew what was causing the bug without even having to look at the code. I forgot to include it in the project files so here is the rcbasic code that causes the bug to appear. It is the GUI library I am working on for the game engine I am writing. gui.bas (37.52 KB) I appreciate any help you can give. Thanks.

I am probably going to replace all the vectors. I have been working on my own library for dynamic arrays which I think will work better.
