Hello, I am curious. Will there be a development roadmap for this software? (2020-2021) We have talented and active forum members now. Yes, they should want to know more about the future of this useful tool. Thanks.

Are you referring to something like a "To-do list" for proposed updates/upgrades and feature removal/insertion with time lines? If so, that sounds like a great idea.
"We have talented and active forum members now.", on this point, I agree. But, unless one of use are hiding the necessary programming skills that are equal to or exceeding those of n00b, to give n00b a helping hand, progress - including the planning and execution of the progress - is currently resting on the shoulders of n00b (sorry n00b - no pressure was intended - just emphasizing your current workload - please don't shoot me...)
Still. It's a great idea. I hope that something will develop.

Well I have been looking into n00bs source, but my programming skill is neither >= that of n00bs.
I am hopeful that I can be of assistance in the nearish future.

To be honest this project is no where near as organized as bigger open source projects. I have been spending more time using RCBasic than developing it lately. tbird my source code is poorly written which is why its probably so hard to read. I don't write professional code with classes, templates, etc. I tried to but I HATE object oriented programming. I am planning on changing the random function on the Windows version this weekend but since that is not actually a bug with RC but a limit imposed by Microsoft I won't add a new version number for that. I have also been working on porting the current version to other platforms along with simplifying the process of building for android. I am planning on a new version but many of the features that I want to add will take probably take a while. But I honestly don't need to have a release every other month like I was doing when I started because its pretty stable where it is right now.

n00b I am about 100% sure the inability to understand your source stems from lack of ability on my part. No OOP is better, to me anyway...not a fan. I just look things over for a bit then read online what some stuff does and go from there slow process but I understand more now then a month ago.

Hi Johno I am not sure what you mean when you say "hiding". I don't have nothing to hide . You know that most of my programming time i spend on writing small parsers ,interpreters but on BASIC i am not C programmer, but that is fine for me. In my free time i work on my my new weird interpreter for fun only. Second thing i am Windozer so i don't know how i can help because most of you are Linux users..right? Only ..whst i can say is that ..i like simple and good syntax of RCBasic.

i agree with you nOOB i don't like OOP too, even i use it in Oxygen Basic from time to time simply because the way how is created in Oxygen is the best..anyone can figure how OOP work in o2 compiler.

Are you referring to something like a "To-do list" for proposed updates/upgrades and feature removal/insertion with time lines? Hello, yes. Of course I don't mean rapid development.

Aurel,
I am not inferring that 'you' are hiding anything. My meaning is that, perhaps those of us with similar or better skills than n00b, could lend a helping hand in easing his work load. It was not my intent to cause you any offence. If I did I apologise...
