Bit odd that version 5 didn't work very well. But good to know that 4.5 seems to be ok... Just checked out version 5... Looks nice... Release Candidate 2.. May be the source of your difficulties. Perhaps stick with 4.5 until version 5 has its bugs worked out? Anyway, keep us updated on your progress. Particularly interested in the speed...

Hmm it is not just because Midori, after few minutes of work system simply froze It looks to me like bug, by the way bodhi community forum is closed all this loks to me like end of distro.. but i found in my lurking Lubuntu fork called Runtu- from russian Lubuntu, and put it into VirtualBox to see what is that. Uh-oh ...it boot very fast and virtual system connect to internet without i need to do something ..that is crazy. Distro is very simple using simplified wm.

Perhaps it is a limitation of the old motherboard? I don't think Linux has a problem with detecting memory or any limitations on how much memory. I just looked up RAM maximums for Linux. 32 bit system may be limited to 4 gig ram. 64 bit, however, can handle anything from 1 to 256 Terabytes...
Bring up a Terminal box: Ctrl+Alt+T then type in: sudo dmidecode -t 16
This will tell you how much RAM your current system can handle. I hope this helps
