Well... First off... Welcome to the forum! I'm probably the only member online (other than you of course) as I live on the other side of the planet... Unfortunately, the people you need to 'talk' to, are probably on your side... asleep. Hopefully, those with better knowledge of RC, will be able to help you soon. My apologies for not being one of them... Again, Welcome to the forum. J

Hey, welcome to the forum. I don't believe there is a bug, n00b has written an entire GUI_Lib with no position issues, my engine I have written a much simpler but custom GUI, and when using the mouse on my scene editor the position is correct. What I do for debugging is have print statements everywhere you should be printing your buttons x and y positions to make sure the error isn't a simple coding error. You could also do it the live debugging way which johnno56 has done, display your button coordinates on your display by passing your values to drawtext function. Or finally if you want help tracking down your error, you could post your entire project publicly or privately and I or someone else can help you track down the headache code. Let us know what you want to do and someone would be glad to help.

I know what you are saying, that is why I started using it, premium linux support! Let us know when you have or haven't tackled the issue, and for curiosity have you looked at n00b GUI lib? Instead of writing your own. In any case if you want to write your own because writing stuff from scratch is what we do!! Then as johnno56 would say....code on!

Same problem, too bad, but I guess it will hopefully point you in the right direction. I haven't ran any bare metal distros but I heard they can be a pain...?
Bother? No bother, collaborating and helping is one of the best parts about programming.

@codebang I have only tested the Linux version on Ubuntu and Mint. It should run just fine one any version of Linux however. If you wouldn't mind trying to run the mouse demo in the keyboard and mouse examples and see how well it works.

@codebang I am glad you got the issue resolved. Good luck on your Gui Library and feel free to look through my Gui Library if you need some ideas. Its used to build the Packaging Tool and the Android Builder tool as well as my engine which is available in the software section of this forum.

I was making this GUI framework in hopes to create something that could show off RCBasic, as well as help contribute in some way (by creating reusable code that anyone could use). Good! You can participate the SyntaxBomb game programming competition as well. You can join the dream team. You can also develop a solo project.(When you present your finished solo entry at last, don't forget to tell the world that you used RCBasic to develop it. Yeah! )

Yeah! ) I'd join the team, but I don't know what I could contribute that the team would need. I'm just a programmer. I have some software to make graphics and sound, but I would definitely need to experiment with them before I could make anything useful. Hello....the team members discuss the entry here. You can come to join the discussion as soon as possible rcbasic.freeforums.net/thread/363/game-suggestions
