Note: I am currently running with Wine 4.0 but Wine 5.0.2 is now available. Wine is only 32 bit. So, if you are using a 64 bit machine, then you will have to visit WineHQ.org for instructions. (found under 'Download') Before installing, the old version of Wine and its dependencies, must be removed as well. (check under 'Ubuntu' download for dependencies) Puppy is an independent operating system, so Wine may have to be compiled from source... Isn't Linux fun? I am uncertain as to whether Win 4 or 5 will run properly on an 'old' machine. If Wine 1.4 is working ok for you, then as they say, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." lol
