Another Linux warning. I write a program in Geany under Linux, save it on the FAT32 disk and in Windows I have a message - the file is damaged. My guess is that when you run scandisk it will be completely removed. Once, the entire catalog disappeared from me (I guess it was in the NTFS at the time)...

Interesting. If memory serves correctly, back in my Windows days, pretty much most hard drives running 32bit widows were formatted ntfs. Unless a new install when you can choose FAT... The version of MX Linux that you use, it it 32 or 64 bit. I only ask because most distros produced are mainly 64 bit. Some current distros produce 32 bit because there are still 32 bit PC's/Laptops out there.
Windows is quite exclusive when it comes to non windows architecture... I don't think it even detects a Linux drive... Whereas Linux will detect a Windows drive and will quite happily read/write and erase a windows drive/files if told to do so... One of the reasons I stopped dual-booting... I could be wrong about Windows as my last Windows OS was WinXp (only used it for 4 years). Sorry... I babbling on again and not being much help at all...
