Today I received a delivery of freshly ground coffee. Because I ordered it on-line, Australia Post, emailed general tracking information...
After the delivery, the email later today, stated the the shipment had been delivered...
Which got me thinking...
How strange is this:
When a delivery is made by road it's called a shipment.
But when a delivery is made by sea it's called cargo...
English. Ya gotta love it...

I live about 45kms south east of Melbourne. Before "The Virus" we would travel to "The Market" in the city for our fruit and vegetables and meat. I usually grab ground coffee from a little coffee shop just outside the market. Not being able to travel that far, until recently, I have been ordering the coffee online. But, to answer your question, I am not aware of a coffee shop locally that roasts and grinds coffee to take home.
Ha. Cargo train. That's a new one... Cool.

"How far"? Stand by for some useful trivia...
Australia is about the same size, in area, as the USA.
USA population density is about 36 people per square kilometre. (about 330 million people) AUS population density is about 3 people per square kilometre. (about 26 million people) At least 80% of Australia's population live on the coast. Central Australia is basically a desert that is occupied by critters and animals that just love the heat...
I kind of like the coffer from the city market... so 45km is no big deal... I 'could' take the push bike, but that's a 6 hour 'round trip' followed my a very long nap.... lol
It's almost 6:10am with a coffee in hand... Yummo!
