I know. I know. "Not 'ANOTHER' particles program". Yep. Another one. Cannot help it. Basic256 is so easy to convert... lol This is a clever (the clever part is 'not' mine... lol) image transition program using particles. Any images can be used as long as they are BOTH the same size. I have no idea what it could be used for but it is cool to watch... If you have any improvements, go for it, then post your results... particle203.zip (28.12 KB)

Check the size of the zip file that you downloaded. I originally uploaded the wrong file (less than 1K)... The correct file is about 28K. I just downloaded that one and it worked just fine...

It works, you just have to wait ... Optimization would be nice ...

what this program doing with wait(1000) if Not WindowExists(1) Or WindowEvent_Close(1) Then end end if update() loopCount = loopCount + 1 loop until loopCount > 2 wait(500) end wait(1000)..a 1000 what he wait ?

The "wait" is there for a reason. The Do...Loop has basically two for...next loops that display one image, explode, implode, display the second image, explode, implode... Then a short 1 second delay (1000 milliseconds). The last wait of 500 milliseconds is just to make the ending a little 'smoother' and no so abrupt.
Aurel. If you are only seeing the clown on the screen... then you are running the first version I posted. That was posted in error. The current version is correct and it runs ok.
Rosy. Optimisation is something that I am still trying to perfect... If you can do that then be my guest... But, don't forget to tell me what you did, otherwise I may not learn anything... lol

I can give you a hint. 1. Scan only pictures, not black backgrounds. 2. Use BufferFromImage instead of GetPixel
