I was banned for a week just because I dared to criticise Aurel's interpreter and a piece of his code. Official reason was, of course, different. Despite the fact that I spent several days on helping Aurel to install and configure BaCon and another several days on trying to make Raylib work with SmallBasic, I was, again, acused of not being interested in BASIC at all. Several of my posts have been deleted and I've decided not to be a part of that forum anymore and to delete my account. To be honest, I should have known from the beginning that it was a bad idea to join that forum, so I have only myself to blame.
Just to let you know - if you're not interested in another primitive BASIC-like interpreter or simple Scintilla-based editors (what was the last clone? QB64 with OxygenBasic templates still there?) then think twice before you register/post there.

THIS IS JUST UNBELIEVABLE!
Aurel said on his forum that I didn't help him with BaCon at all. To prove it he... has deleted all my posts in that topic.
Also, according to Aurel I said "Don't bother i am done with BASIC". This is a lie. I said that I would have to take a break from BASIC. Yes, I need to take a break from BASIC soon due to training at work and holiday plans.
And yes - I always wanted a forum for hobbyists not restricted to any particular language. I still do, but I know that, thanx to people like Aurel, it will never happen. He moans about people slaging BASIC and then he does exactly the same by spreading nonsense about majority of other languages.

Guys,
You need to be careful about what is being said on a "public" forum.
If you have any personal issues, please use the "Personal Message" facility. Whether the allegations of banning or deleting are true or not, publicly on this forum, we do not need to hear about it. Keep your personal issues between yourselves. My main concern is to maintain a public image of civility. How can we hope to attract and or keep new members when they see other members "airing their dirty laundry" in public?
Use PM and this matter will not be raised again. Do not test me...

It's difficult to send personal message if you're banned from sending personal messages... Anyway. This is not a personal issue. Bplus asked on that forum what happened to my posts and, since I couldn't answer there, I explained it here. It worked. I'm not interested in talking to Aurel at all. Why would I? I just want users here to know what's happend on that forum. Is it OK to comment what's happening in QB64 community, but not OK to say truth about Aurel's forum? Don't worry. I won't be posting about it again.

I, for one, have hit a mental block - ok stop laughing - I have not had one single idea for a game... not even a conversion of a game... *sigh*
Summer? Oh, right. You are on the other side of the planet but more north... It is a shame that you cannot actually send us some of your heat... lol
I was so bored that I re-installed my OS (Linux Mint Cinnamon) and also installed (Linux Mint Mate) on my spare drive. It is wonderful to see and feel the old machine working much faster... Amazing how much "clutter" we can accumulate...
I have been playing senseless games of Doom just to pass the time... lol
Well, it is almost 4:45am and I have to get our coffee's made... Have a great day... in all that warmth... lol

I have been playing senseless games of Doom just to pass the time... lol If, you're so bored and out of ideas then I have one for you. Try different languages. Take a simple program and try to convert it to a language that is completely new for you. Try Julia, Odin, D, Nim... You will be surprised how easy they are. Yes, at first it may feel a bit difficult, but soon you will be able to write simple programs with no problems. Odin comes with Raylib included. To use Raylib with D, Nim and Julia you would have to install it, but this is a part of learning process and a chalange by itself.

Tomaaz, if I were 30 years younger, I would jump at the chance of learning new languages... But, this old head of mine, struggles to keep inside all that I have... lol I have had opportunities in the past to learn how to programme and wasted them all... *sigh* I suppose that I will always go back to Basic. It is what I have known most of my life... Ha... When I was a kid there was no Basic... Crumbs... Come to think of it, the first electronic computer had only been around for maybe 20 years... lol It has taken me 'this' long to get used to Basic and I 'still' have not mastered it... lol I fear that I may not last long enough to learn another... and that is ok. I enjoy using Basic... Thank you for your suggestion. Much appreciated.
