1. The arrow keys / WASD are used in most games. What is the point of that? Maybe out of concern for left-handed ... They are all left-handed ??
2. What makes jam featured on itch.io?

1. Interesting point. Left handed was my first choice... or perhaps to cater for smaller keyboards that did not have dedicated cursor keys? Maybe for two players. Player 1 would use a set of keys at the opposite end of the keyboard making it easier for player 2 to use the cursor keys? Who can really understand the thought processes of a game creator... lol

There are very few 2-player games. Johnny, you used this layout too, I thought you knew ..

WASD is defacto standard in all first person shooters, so maybe many are used to controlling movement with those keys.

I suspected so. So, as usual, lambs are monkeying from each other ... And leftism is only right now ... It sounds nice in English - left is right

These Jams are some balls ... Check this out: itch.io/jam/floppy-disk-jam/resultsMost of these games are either incomplete, broken, don't work, or are totally simple. My Orbital War took last place ...
