hello i've downloaded rcbasic_win_318 and created a single bas file with this code: print$ "hello world" however it doesn't let me compile and run it cause it's a single file and not a "project" do i really have to create a whole project for a simple "hello world" program? ron77

Ron,
Before "Studio" came into being, I used RCBasic (and still do whilst I get used to studio) with Geany. If memory serves correctly, there should be instructions within RC package, on how to configure Geany as the IDE. But, I believe you may be correct in the sense that, each main program needs to be in its own project. I am not 100% sure why... Still learning... It may have something to do with managing programs. But Admin should be able to answer that one...

@ron77 Running single files will be possible in 3.19. It has been in the oven for a while but it will be out before the end of the month.
