Potent. Potency. Power. Omni = all or unlimited; Potent = power. Omnipotent = All powerful.
Ah, English... You either love it or hate it... lol
I hope that helps...

n00b , I love the idea of high fantasy setting, that's my favorite genre, but I can also come up with many ways to incorporate sci-fi and fantasy.
Out of curiosity what type of fiction is a person gains magic abilities by having body parts chirurgicallly replaced with blessed artifacts into which essences of omnipotent gods have been encaged, and to be not eaten by these artifacts one must consume a a drug only present on special places and which is the offspring of these omnipotent gods.
That's a mouthful lol, and a very intriguing idea would be a pretty cool concept to have as a base of a game, I would probably base this in Sci-Fi/Fantasy realm for sure.

Yo ..i agree ..but sounds like is from 16 century he he ... Almost... English version was early 14th century but was based on the old French version from the 11th century. By the late 1590's, omnipotent, was generally used in reference to God...
Here ends today's lesson... lol

Just a reminder, the game jam "officially" starts in 3 weeks. If you are planning to participate then you can already sign up now.
Also, if anyone has something really ambitious you want to make but don't know how to get started please just ask here. This forum has been around for a long time and there is a lot of code for all kinds of stuff already available here and I am also willing to answer any questions anyone may have.
I am looking forward to playing all the entries we get.

Today is the official start of the Jam. It will last until the end of February. We have a total of 8 participants which is actually a lot more than I thought we would get. I imagine only 1 or 2 people will submit anything but I am still excited to see the games made.
