n00b, I am not sure if I have asked this before or you may have raised the issue earlier (apologies either way)... Will RCB 4.0 be backward compatible with RCB 3 or will it be a "new" beast? It is just that, if it is not, then I am going to need all that time, up to early next year, to condition and strengthen my hands for a series of "re-coding".... Moo Ha Ha Ha....

It will be like 90% backward compatible. We are going to be changing the backend from SDL2's rendering API to irrlicht. There are going to be some things that will change as a result but there is no plans to change things if we don't absolutely have to. Its going to be a big change in that we will be adding a lot of new stuff like built-in 3D, physics, and user defined types.
I also recently worked on some steam integration features for Graizor so I will be sure to get that into 4.0 as well. I know I haven't mentioned much lately but, until we get closer to a release, there really isn't much to mention. v3.21 is still being supported and I will continue to address bugs that come up but I haven't gotten a new bug report since the release of v3.21.

Cool.... 90% is WAY more than nothing... lol Sounds like you have a lot of work on your plate... Fingers crossed that 3.21 will remain bug-free until 4.0...
