So what you waiting for ,fork one or made one ..learn programming !!! Making a nice editor is not my responsibility. The development team of SmallBASIC is required to improve the current editor to attract people to use SmallBASIC. This is their task. Perhaps the development team should not be lazy in this aspect. Otherwise, the user base will not be enlarged.

Kennn, I do not know the reasons for SB's move to Syntax. I am uncertain if the move has helped them increase their membership. But, what I do know is that, because of the move they will be now more noticeable to the Basic programming community. So, I will tend to agree with you on that point, in regards to success. Similarly, if RCBasic's official forum is moved to syntaxbomb, RCBasic's forum will be more active as well. No, should be much more active since RCBasic's target audience are those members at syntaxbomb. The move will be quite successful.

I am wondering do you even tried SB Yes, I tried it. In conclusion, my feeling is that SB is not very useful. (you may think that SB is very useful.)

Navigating SB is somewhat of a learning curve... But that's SB. SB, like so many other Basics, has it's limitations. Having an IDE, such as RCBasic and SDLBasic and QB64, would make the experience better (in my opinion), but 'not very useful'? A good programmer will use the tools at hand to make a good game. RC, SB, SDL and QB64 are just that... tools. All tools are useful. Some are better than others... but useful none the less...
I really need to work on shortening my comments... lol Maybe another coffee will help? Who am I kidding? Of course another coffee will help! lol...

I think that I need to try it again. Thanks. One more thing, I want to make a summary: Prior to using the current forum at syntaxbomb, the SmallBASIC community used the old forum at: retrobasic.allbasic.info/index.php?board=22.0 From Aug 2018 to Oct 2019, total number of posts is only 131, the old forum was not as active as the current forum.

that retro-shit (sorry on bad words -that is my natural reaction - so don't blame me - i am sort of temperament) SB,SDL basic ,RCB dont have his own IDE,,,well ok SDLbasic have IDE+ interpreter, SB have third party show author digg from the god knows where and modify it , RCB use Geany( that one i hate) ...there is AurelEdit (windows only-shame on me) for RCB. my prediction is that SB can attract some potential lurkers and that is good but i wont expect hyper interest because there are orphans of Blitz--i called it Blitz-ers Syntax forum is full of pontificators, patronizerrs, show off ass->smelling->masters that makes me seek of that place .

that ................................. of temperament) Ok. I think that modern programming hobbyists want an IDE as good as Blitzmax NG's IDE(at least). In addition, CerberusX's IDE is an ideal solution for these people. Sure. This prediction is very reasonable. Finally, I encourage NaaLaa's development team to move their forum to syantaxbomb as soon as possible to prevent NaaLaa's user community from disappearing in the programming world.
